Horse and Hounds Chesapeakes’ goal has always been to produce a physically sound, intelligent dog that performs in the field. Since our very first dogs, we believe we have not only maintained that goal but we hope we have continued to improve the overall quality of our dogs. Our commitment to this goal has included importing and breeding to Chesapeakes from various countries in Europe as well as the United States. We are also very proud that we train each of our Chesapeakes for not only hunting but for competitive working tests and certificates.
